The keynote session of “From Vision to Reality: Building ams OSRAM & Malaysia’s First Fully Automated Wafer Fab” will start off with an introduction of ams OSRAM and their product portfolio to the conference audience. It then dives right into the building blocks of their next generation LED production plant, which was intended as a key enabler for high volume microLED manufacturing.
The speaker shall then share key facts and figures of the world’s first 8” LED chip fab followed by an overview of the various operating models evaluated which resulted in the company’s full automation vision. Post this, the keynote transitions to the organizational setup of their Factory Integration program that defined an operating model to drive the successful strategy adoption and eventual execution of their agile roadmap. This encompasses the workstreams covering MES, EI, RMS, APC, CMMS, QMS, AMHS and other key components of the program.
The session then concludes with an overview of their agility exercise in program management that resulted in the record speed Factory Integration capabilities delivered - highlighting the changes to the status quo that were realized in the project. Jeff WinterVP Business Strategy at Critical Manufacturing
The automotive industry is undergoing a profound transformation, driven by the rise of softwaredefined vehicles, electrification, and decarbonization. Dependable electronics are crucial to solve the energy challenges of our time and shape the digital transformation. This is why Infineon is committed to actively driving decarbonization and digitalization.
This keynote will explore the key trends shaping the future of mobility, including the growing importance of decarbonization, where customers are increasingly demanding associated CO2 data and other layers of product information. Infineon is addressing this need through Industry 4.0 concept of horizontal integration.
The current geopolitical situation presents both challenges and opportunities for the industry. Infineon's strategy for navigating these complexities is built on its "Multi-Site Manufacturing" approach, which enables flexibility, supply chain resilience, and faster response times to changing market conditions.
Infineon's focus on delivering innovative solutions that meet the evolving demands of the automotive industry will be highlighted. Through this keynote, Thomas Kaufmann will provide a comprehensive overview of the mega trends shaping the future of mobility, its influence on semiconductor manufacturing and Infineon‘s digital
transformation.
