Session: The Role of AI in Manufacturing: Use Cases from the SEMI industry
There is no question, AI is changing the world. With the advent of advanced technologies and the rise of Industry 5.0, AI has emerged as a transformative force that can revolutionize manufacturing processes. We will examine various aspects of AI implementation in manufacturing, including quality control, data analytics, and human-robot collaboration. As we move into this new era of AI and automation, and although challenges and limitations exist, such as implementation hurdles, workforce adaptation, cybersecurity risks, and ethical considerations, manufacturers must examine the benefits and issues surrounding AI and human connection, and understand how an integrated and modern MES platform can help embrace this transformative technology to enhance productivity, improve operational efficiency, drive innovation, and gain a competitive edge in the dynamic global market.
