Luís Ponte is the Global Solution Delivery Director at Critical Manufacturing. He leads engineering teams across three different regions (Asia, Europe and America) dedicated to deploying Critical Manufacturing solutions and providing consulting services to high-tech discrete manufacturing industries. With over 14 years of experience in the manufacturing software industry, Luís has worked as a developer, project manager, and director.
Before his current role, Luís led the Product Development area, a group that is focused on engineering, R&D and innovation. He continues to be involved in strategic and technological decisions for the company’s products.
Throughout his career at Critical Manufacturing, Luís has been part of multiple MES implementations in sectors such as semiconductors, electronics, and solar. He holds a Master’s degree in Informatics and Computing Engineering from the University of Porto and is certified as a Scrum Master and Scrum Product Owner.
