Sara’s involvement with Alfa Laval’s MES journey dates back to its inception, where she played a pivotal role in selecting Critical Manufacturing as the supplier of the MES platform for Alfa Laval. Since then, she has been responsible for developing and maintaining the global MES template, ensuring that it aligns with the enterprise and sites’ process and business needs as well as regulatory requirements and MES best practice, gaining the site knowledge through being the functional lead in the rollout projects for the factories implementing MES.
Sara’s expertise lies in gathering the needs and requirements of the prospective end users and translating them into practical solutions within the MES framework, understanding the technical and structural aspects as well as the end user’s point of view. She has a strong emphasis for user-friendliness and easy to understand, robust solutions.
Before joining Alfa Laval, Sara served as an MES specialist for a consulting company. This role endowed her with extensive experience in MES, having successfully implemented MES in over twenty factories for more than ten different companies across three continents.
